Unemployment Rate Hits 10.2%

The U.S. jobless rate hit 10.2% in October, a rise from the previously reported 9.8% in September.  The employment figures are pressuring stock prices as I write this post before 9 am ET.  However, so far, the losses are muted, and it will be interesting to see what direction the market takes after the open.  Treasury prices are rallying on the news, with 10 Year Note yields dropping to 3.46%.
